  I would like to thank you for providing us with this great opportunity. As we are going through this difficult time of the year, it was such a blessing to use our time productively and gain knowledge and experiences through professional and extremely helpful instructors. I have signed up for 10 workshops ( 6 credits) and I have to say I have enjoyed each and every one of them. I felt that I had the instructors guiding me in the classroom as the information shared and the setup was very organized and direct. We were given clear instructions and the instructors never hesitated to help and support us when we needed help. Again, I would like to thank you for providing us with this opportunity.

• The Creative Classroom: Reader’s Theater Meets Global Competencies

  • The materials are very simple and handy. Every activity was  like a gateway to gain more knowledge about each concept in this session.

• Gifted and Talented Second Language Acquisition

  • The session gave me an understanding of what to think about when implementing a gifted and talented program. Honestly I found it amazing, very organised and self explanatory! Thank you!!!

• Second Language Acquisition

  • Everything was helpful.  The second language principles all have practical value and with working in Kuwait, this information will prove most helpful.

• Multi Tiered System Support for Second Language Learners

  • The content of this session was completely new to me, so the definitions of terms were very helpful.

• Coaching Kids to be Independent Learners

  • I loved the idea of calendaring and the checklist.   I think it was more than great!

  • Everything was valuable. It was really helpful though to look at the different mindscapes of schools and then think about the practices of my school and other schools I've been in to understand how leadership is functioning and where I think there could be improvements. It was AMAZING and very beneficial!

I enjoyed applying Kidders theories and it made me think in different perspectives. I only want more!   • I had gone through the Leadership in the Grey areas workshop previously and really liked how connected these two sessions were! The material was so clear, simple and handy.

  • The practical aspect of being able to apply the theory in the classroom.  Also the videos and activities broke up the work to make it easier to understand.

  • The use of ATL and how to apply it to my planning was most helpful.

  • Knowing the importance of maker space was most helpful learning.

  • This session was an open-eye for many new things. It makes you search for more and to fully understand what we need in our schools for the coming phase

• Reflective Teacher

  • Every thing in this session is wonderful. Doctor Tom is such great person; his sessions and feed back are more than excellent. Understanding what reflection entails to be an effective practitioner and also the use of the different models allowed me to compare and contrast what worked best for me.
